Sharing Student Projects

For Academics

This website can enhance teaching and learning and provide examples to students who are developing ideas and accruing research expertise. The summaries provided on this website may be of interest for students who are developing ideas regarding the major project/dissertation they are to undertake and can support students later in the process to inspire and consider the contributions to knowledge and impact of their research projects.

This website provides an opportunity to share student examples tied to knowledge exchange within a research project. Students are encouraged to consider the real-world value of their dissertations/major project and the contributions they can make within such work. This, in turn, enhances student experience and employability.

Student work is hosted on this platform and there are higher education materials available to support teaching.

Specific criteria are provided to students to address in their project write up. A moderation process involves selecting criteria that are upheld to support examples on this website. These criteria include oversight from the marking team involved in each piece of research as well as consent from the student who completed the work. A small team support this website, offering support to academic staff to collate materials for the website, meaning there is minimal burden on academic staff.

Please contact sarah.macquarrie@manchester.ac.uk if you are interested in learning more about the project.
